Sony makes the God of War Trilogy complete on PS3

First of all, I do apologize for being away for such a long time! I do not want to go in too much details or find excuses. I was simply disappointed due to lack of news and haven't followed up the news as the summer ended.

Finally we have really great news!

Seems to be a great holiday season for God of War and PS3 fans. God of War was never before as accessible for PS3 owners as now. Yes, Sony Santa Monica has listened to the fans. God of War I + II is coming to PS3 this holiday season..

It means, that on a single Blue Ray disc you will get the first 2 games for PS3 in 720p /60 FPS glory. This is a must buy for all video game lovers around the world. Remember, if you have never played God of War I or II before, you have to play these games before the final chapter hits, not only to follow up the story, but also for the simple reason, that this 2 games are among the best video games ever created and simply outperforms almost all next-gen games in all aspects. Gone will be the screen tearing and frame rate problems, caused by the beyond it's very limit pushed PS2.
Considering also the PS3 299,99 $ price tag, God of War trilogy was never closer to us.
Visit the blog of Bruno Velazquez or the original source Kotaku for the announcement and comments, or read the official press release here.

For the God of War Collection IGN Q 'n' A click here.

You can already pre-order God of War Collection also via DestroyOlympus store on Amazon here.

What else happened, while I was hiding..

Some nice screen-shots were released showing of the Hades fight. Click here to have a look at them, or here to see, what Bruno Velazquez, lead animator for God of War 3 had to say about them. Finally read the Gamepro article, which deep-analyze this screens.

Other source for screen-shots with an additional really nice Concept Art here.

Some information about the voice actors are revealed here.
It's preatty much spoiling possible characters for God of War III, but actually we do not know, if all of them will be in-game charachters, or some of them will appear in cut scenes only.

This is all for now folks! It was good to be back again.
I have to say, I'm excited now.. but I need more God of War 3 info now!!!

I'll try to update during the Fall more frequently. Do not forget, that God of War 3 will be at TGS this year. Hope to see some nice new screens, maybe a trailer.

P.S. Sony Computer Entertainment America: There are some epic games, which should be also ported to the PS3. I mean here ICO and Shadow of the Colossus in the first place. This games are EPIC, but the response times and laggy controls killed them for me. This issues could be easily addressed this way..

It would be perfect if the collection also had Chains of Olympus on it as well.
